On December 2nd, Linda Diekmann, owner and president of Prizm Solutions in Medical Management, Inc., was honored at the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers network annual Success Awards Luncheon. Linda was acknowledged for her “hard work, dedication to excellence and perseverance.” She accepted the award due to Prizm’s outstanding growth in several areas including sales, profit and employees.
The NJSBDC is in partnership with The U.S. Small Business Administration, The NJ Commerce and Economic Growth Commission and the Rutgers Business School. This year they will be hosting Virginia S. Bauer, CEO and Secretary of the NJ Commerce and Economic Growth and Tourism Commission, and John E. McCormac, NJ State Treasurer.
Thanksgiving is a time usually celebrated among friends and family, and often people travel far distances to be with loved ones on this occasion. Before trekking out this weekend please review these safety tips:
Drive defensively: Be aware of impaired drivers and if you see someone driving suspiciously get off the road and call the police.
• Keep a safe following distance
• Buckle up!
• Note that fallen leaves impede the ability to brake
• Use low-beams when traveling through fog
• Pay attention: The foliage is beautiful but the road is more important
